The Battle of Monmouth

When the French enter the war on the side of the Americans, the British order General Clinton to abandon Philadelphia. British General Clinton leads a 15,000 wagon train of booty two miles long across New Jersey on the way to New York. George Washington sees the opportunity to deal the British a severe blow by trapping the British army in New Jersey.
