While the Patriot forces under George Washington besiege Boston, they devise a bold plan to bring Canada in on the side of the Colonies. A two-pronged assault to capture both Montreal and Quebec will hopefully turn the mostly French Canadians against the British. The main assault under Richard Montgomery will aim at Montreal. A second force led by Benedict Arnold will march 400 miles through uncharted wilderness to take Quebec by surprise.
